2008 Hook Arrow Shell Campout

May 6 - 8 at Citta Scout Reservation

What do I need to bring???

• BRING A ROLL OF TOILET PAPER! There are latrines in each camp site
• Bring a flash light -- for the late night run to the latrine....
• Bring warm PJs! One thing to remember when camping is that you MUST change your clothes at night - if you sleep in the clothes you wore all day you WILL be cold at night.
• If you have a mat to go under your sleeping bag you will probably be warmer and more comfortable
• Bring rain gear just in case....
• A pillow helps (some believe this may be a bit overboard for a night or two)
• You do not need a mess kit - we've got plenty of supplies -
• Bring a jacket for the weather - it gets cold at night, even around the fires... (sweat jacket/sweater/etc at a minimum)
• Bring fishing poles if you have them - Adults are allowed to fish as well. It would be helpful if you have the chance to grab some 'bait' (worms) from Dick's Sporting Goods or maybe Walmart
• All BB and Archery gear is provided
• BUG SPRAY / Sun Lotion !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• Bring a camera! There will be some great photo-opps over the weekend!
• Class B uniform (and HAT!) for the scouts. Bring a Class A shirt, neckerchief, slide, hat for the Opening/Flag Ceremony
• There are a limited number of wagons available to help haul your stuff from the parking lot to the site
